Assessment of the biological risks in foods
Expert Committee
The Expert Committee (CES) on "Assessment of the biological risks in foods" is tasked with:
- assessing food risks associated with pathogenic micro-organisms (viruses, bacteria, parasites, mould);
- assessing the risks associated with how food is prepared and consumed;
- assessing the microbiological risks associated with novel foods and technological processes;
- assessing options for managing these risks.
